That Time When I… Went Ziplining

Back in the summer of 2019 we had gone camping down in Watkins Glen State Park and had probably one of the best camping trips we have ever gone on. The campground that we were staying at had a zip line and even though I am terrified of heights, I was determined that I was going to do this.

Michael on the other hand isn’t scared of heights. I mean we’re talking about a man who jumped out of helicopters in the Marine Corps, so this was nothing to him but for me, it was a huge deal. Shawn didn’t have any interest in it, so we set him down at the bottom of the line with my phone and told him to record us. (I ended up with videos of every single rider because he never knew if it was me or not. lol) Michael took a video of me at the top and getting ready to go down.

There’s a zip line in Niagara Falls where you go out over the water and while I was afraid to do it at first (and I would still be nervous doing it), this experience has made me really want to do it. Unfortunately, Covid hit the very next year and we haven’t been able to but in the coming years I am really looking forward to doing it.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

XOXO, Jules

I’m not a fan of heights either and am proud of you for doing the zip line! There was one near us at our recent vacation and some of the kids went, but not me!

Trying Something New

It's been years since we have had kittens in the house but after our Penny passed away suddenly, we adopted 2 twin kittens. It's been an adventure getting them used to our 2 German Shepherds.
